What is the difference between hypnotherapy and counselling?Hypnotherapy and counselling both support mental and emotional well-being but use different approaches: Hypnotherapy works by guiding you into a relaxed, trance-like state to access the subconscious mind. It helps change deep-seated behaviours, habits, and beliefs using suggestion, visualisation, and regression techniques. Counselling is a structured conversation where a therapist helps you explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. It focuses on conscious awareness, problem-solving, and emotional support through talking therapies like CBT or person-centred therapy. Both approaches can complement each other, and our therapist can help determine the best fit based on your needs.
